Heidelberg University Hospital, located in Heidelberg, Germany, is one of Germany's leading medical centers, treating approximately 80,000 inpatients and over 1 million outpatients annually. The hospital's Department of Neurosurgery is one of Europe's leading centers, performing over 3,200 surgeries annually (700 for brain tumors), with 74 beds including 14 intensive care beds, treating primary brain tumors, brain metastases, skull base tumors, meningiomas, spinal cord tumors, and pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors using computer-assisted navigation, modern microscopy, and fluorescence-guided tumor resection.
